A field guide for your charging drawer

Same port.
What about the power?

Read charger and device labels together. Find shared fixed USB PD voltages and a theoretical power ceiling, with the limits spelled out.

Charger label

Use one USB-C port’s OUTPUT list. Omit AC input and variable ranges.

02

Device label

Use the device’s accepted INPUT list, not just the watts on its original charger.

Cable & comparison scope

Use an explicit manufacturer target. It is not assumed to be the minimum needed to operate. Choose Unknown if your cable’s current, voltage or e-marker rating is unclear.

Local calculations. Your labels stay in this tab. Nothing is uploaded.

Your label comparison

A match starts
with the details.

Paste both labels, check the parsed rows, then add the cable rating. The result explains each shared voltage.

A 65 W headline alone cannot tell you whether two fixed voltage lists overlap.
An upper bound, not a charging promise.
Actual charging, speed, safety and authenticity remain unverified.
How to read the result

Three checks. Every condition visible.

01 / THE SAME VOLTAGE

Find a common fixed profile

We intersect only the voltages you enter. A device label may list fewer profiles than it accepts. No missing fallback is invented.

02 / THE EXPLICIT LIMIT

Apply the current limits

At each shared voltage, use the lowest listed charger, device and cable current, plus the cable’s wattage cap. Keep the highest resulting ceiling.

03 / THE UNKNOWN PART

Leave uncertainty in the answer

Unknown cable, missing specs or an EPR setup? The result says so. Lower input may not operate or charge a device; check its manual.
